Why Jonathan Will Not Sack Petroleum Minister, Diezani Alison Madueke

It is common knowledge that the beautiful woman that calls the shots in the oil industry in Nigeria, Diezani Alison  Madueke is the most powerful woman in Nigeria, some say she takes care of the left ear of the president while the First Lady, Patience takes care of the right and both have learnt not to cross each other's path.
A source told us that no matter what recommendation any probe or investigative report come up with, some other people might fall by the wayside and be swept away, Diezani will never be sacrificed or eased out of her plum job.
“that is settled and many reasons can be adduced for this”, said our source, who revealed further that the main reason for her been in office in the first place apart from the fact that she rose to become the first female executive director in the history of Shell Petroleum Development Corporation in Nigeria early in year 2006, is the fact that she also hold a pride of place in the heart of Mr. President as the elder sister to his second wife, you can fill in the gap is who best to keep the president’s secret”, a source close to Mr President revealed.
Another source that is also close to the corridors of power told us sarcastically, “well, I believe there is more to the relationship than meet the eyes probably what some people are saying that she is a gate-keeper for some hidden treasure which is jointly owned by the President and the cabal could be true.
One thing nobody can deny is the fact that Patience never wanted this woman in that office; he threw all kind of trap on her path when Jonathan was to draw the list of cabinet members, Odein Ajumogobia was her preferred candidate for the plum job but when shove came to push, Diezani overcame and got the job.
Investigations revealed that other factors also came to bear in the choice of Diezani as the oil minister, one is the well known fact about her family background, her father was his royal highness, Chief Fredrick Abiye Agama, the Ogbolom Edede of the Epic Atissa clan in Bayelsa State, the general believe is that the powerful monarch was instrumental to the creation of Bayelsa  State and it would amount to a great disrespect to overlook him when he needs any kind of favor from anybody that is somebody in Ijaw Kingdom.
A source close to the woman in the eye of the storm however told us that the oil minister was really well groomed, “she came prepared for the job, just check out her background and you'll know why people will always envy her, with a solid educational background, and an intimidating career in America and other western countries. She's more than qualified to be trusted with the job. She's not the typical African woman who will rush into marriage because of time, she achieved all these before she settled down as a happily married woman at the age of 39”, the source concluded.
