Few weeks ago, news went
viral that fast-rising artiste, Chuddy K has left SNQ Records to form his out
label called Kent Music. The development has raised some issues within the old
label, which we learnt the owners are not happy about.
While the artiste has
reportedly maintained that he is no more with SNQ, the label is insisting that
the artiste is still under contract with them.
A top source in the label,
who spoke with First Weekly, maintained that Chuddy K is still its artiste.
The source, who pleaded anonymity, said that the artiste’s contract with them
will expire in December 2014.
We were further informed by
the source that Chuddy K cannot go elsewhere until his present contract with
the company expires or it is out rightly bought over, which was how SNQ signed
Chuddy K from his former label.
The source denied having any
problem with the artiste, which might have made him to want to leave them.
“Except he says he has problem with SNQ, I don’t think there is any problem
between him and the label,” the source told First Weekly.
Chuddy K’s hit single, ‘Gaga
Crazy’, was a club hit. It was well received by music buffs as it ruled the
airwaves for a long time.
