7th AMVCA: Hurry, You’ve Got Just One Week To Vote For Your Favourite Movie Stars!

There’s only one week left for fans to vote for their favourite movie and TV stars who have been nominated in various categories in the 7th Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards holding Saturday, 14 March in Lagos, Nigeria

Nominees for the prestigious awards ceremony were announced early February, with several actors, directors, screenwriters and other industry specialists vying for honors in 28 categories. Although all the nominees have been recognized for their outstanding performance over the past 19 months, there can only be one winner in each category.

Seven categories including Best Actor in a Comedy (Movie/TV Series), Best Actor in a Drama (Movie/TV Series), Best Actress in a Comedy (Movie/TV Series), Best Actress in a Drama (Movie/TV Series), Best Supporting Actor (Movie/TV Series), Best Supporting Actress (Movie/TV Series), and Best Short Film or Online Video are all open to public voting, while a panel of highly experienced judges will determine the outcome of other categories.

This edition promises to come with a lot of surprises, as all the categories are filled with a good mix of veteran and breakthrough actors.

The Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards will hold at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos on Saturday, 14 March and will be broadcast live on all Africa Magic channels on DStv and GOtv.
