    Thirty New COVID-19 Infections Recorded in Nigeria

    Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC has reported thirty new cases of COVID-19 in three states Saturday.

    Saturday’s case count is lower than Friday’s, which saw thirty-nine new infections reported.

    Today's report includes seven hundred and ninety-six recoveries and no new death related to the disease in past 24 hours.

    The health authorities stated that today's  discharges includes a backlog of 795 community recoveries in Adamawa State managed in line with guidelines.

    The active cases on Saturday dropped by 771. The total active coronavirus cases in the country now 7,052.

    NCDC has confirmed 165,370 cases of COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic, reported 156,250  recoveries and 2,065 deaths linked to COVID-19.

    According to the latest NCDC data, twenty-One cases were recorded in Lagos, eight in Adamawa and one in Rivers state.
