The Gunners beat Leeds United on Tuesday night to earn their
spot in the quarter-finals.
Chelsea progressed on penalties against Southampton while
League One Sunderland also won on spot kicks, shocking Championship side QPR.
Burnley and Preston North End will hope to join them in the
draw on Wednesday night.
North End, beaten by rivals Blackpool last time out, face a
Liverpool side fresh from thrashing Manchester United 5-0 at the weekend.
Jurgen Klopp is set to make a host of changes to his
unbeaten Premier League title contenders for the clash at Deepdale while PNE
will be out to create a shock.
Burnley, meanwhile, welcome Tottenham to Turf Moor in an all
top flight clash.
Sean Dyche's side have knocked out Newcastle United and
Rochdale to reach this stage with the victory over the League Two outfit their
only 90 minute success this season.
A 2-2 draw at Southampton on Saturday extended their winless
league start to nine matches and means they are in the bottom three heading
into the tie with a Spurs side who are also coming in for criticism after
defeat to West Ham.
A place in the last eight is on offer to the winners and the
draw details have been confirmed.
The quarter final draw is on Saturday live on Soccer AM,
which is on Sky Sports from 10.30am-12noon on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky
Sports Premier League.
A set time for the draw has not been confirmed but show
hosts Jimmy Bullard and John Fendley will be pulling out the numbers.
The draw is also likely to be shown for free on the Sky
Sports You Tube channel.
The quarter final ties take place in the week beginning
December 20.
