She made this known while introducing Wayne to the stage at
her recent concert amid wild cheers from an electrifying crowd.
Prostrating three times for Wayne, she described him as “the
best rapper alive.”
Nicki Minaj said, “Make some noise for the man that
single-handedly changed my life.
“I am nobody without you. I don’t give a damn how long I’ve
been in this game, I think you are the best rapper alive. Thank you for
changing my life.”
However, Lil Wayne said he would have agreed with her that
he is the best rapper alive “but there is a certain person by the name of Nicki
Minaj” who is better than him.
Last year, Lil Wayne brought out Nicki Minaj for a surprise
performance on Day 2 of the festival in Inglewood, Calif. Midway through his
headlining set on Saturday night, Weezy welcomed the queen for a medley of
hits, starting with “BedRock.”
“Ladies and gentlemen, no need of an introduction. The
motherfu**in’ queen,” Wayne told the crowd.
Rocking long pink hair and a Chanel backpack, Nicki
performed her “High School” collaboration with Wayne before launching into her
chart-topping smash “Super Freaky Girl” and her brand new single “Red Ruby Da
Sleeze,” stopping the song to ask why the instrumental was offbeat.
Nicki Minaj started her career under Lil Wayne’s record
label, Young Money, alongside Drake.
