The renowned British rapper and vocalist, Stephanie Allen, commonly known as Stefflon Don, has publicly expressed her profound affection for the award-winning Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu, also known as Burna Boy, describing him as the love of her life.
Stefflon Don asserted this during an interview with Fernando
Halman on the Dutch music platform, Real Talk, which was published on social
media on Saturday.
In response to the inquiry regarding the status of Burna
Boy’s position in her affections, the Jamaican vocalist provided an affirmative
response, accompanied by a wistful gaze and a voice imbued with the tenderness
of cherished recollections.
During the course of the discussion, Stefflon Don openly
acknowledged her current romantic involvement, however, she refrained from
disclosing the identity of her significant other.
In response to inquiries regarding her impending nuptials,
Stefflon Don unequivocally refuted any such speculations. She emphasized that
when she makes the decision to embark on matrimony, the world will be duly
informed.
In 2022, Burna Boy released the highly successful song “Last
Last,” which achieved Platinum certification in the United States. Speculation
suggests that the song draws inspiration from his past relationship with
Stefflon Don, which concluded in 2021.
Stefflon Don revealed that Burna Boy acknowledged that a
particular song was indeed about her when questioned about it.
“He has actually said that the song is about me,” she said.
The romantic relationship between Stefflon Don and the
Nigerian singer has garnered significant public attention and acclaim.
The dissolution of the couple’s relationship three years ago
came as an unexpected and distressing revelation to their admirers, given the
outward appearance of their mutual affection.
There were even rumors of the couple reconciling, but it
never materialized.
