’Find Your Soil’, Nurture Your AgriTech Innovation and Win $50,000 in Equity Funding.
The Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology (MEST Africa), in partnership with the Norwegian Embassy, is excited to announce the commencement of the 6th edition of the MEST Africa Challenge (MAC). This year's initiative aims to discover and nurture outstanding AgriTech entrepreneurs who are tackling significant agricultural issues in West Africa.
As the AgriTech landscape continues to evolve, it is essential to create an environment conducive to innovation. Although many African entrepreneurs have ambitious ideas, they frequently encounter obstacles in securing the essential resources and networks needed to realize their visions. MAC 2024 aims to address this challenge by offering startups the chance to "Find Their Soil," providing vital support, funding, and mentorship.
"‘Find Your Soil’ is a call to action for AgriTech innovators to discover the ideal environment where their vision can flourish. Through the MEST Africa Challenge, we aim to support this ecosystem by providing the necessary resources, visibility, and strategic support for these entrepreneurs to thrive,” said Ashwin Ravichandran, Portfolio Advisor, MEST Africa.
