In recent Premier League transfer news, Berge has signed with Fulham, while Liverpool has transferred teenager Clark.
Fulham has finalized the acquisition of Sander Berge from relegated Burnley for an estimated fee of 25 million pounds ($32.8 million) on a five-year deal, announced on Thursday. The Norway international is expected to take over the role of holding midfielder following the departure of Joao Palhinha, who transferred to Bayern Munich during the current transfer window.
“It’s been a bit of a rollercoaster these past few weeks,” Berge remarked. “But now, as I sit here in this jersey at this magnificent stadium, I feel confident that my future lies here, which is a wonderful feeling.”
Berge, who previously played for Sheffield United in the Premier League, may be in line to make his Fulham debut against Leicester on Saturday.
In another transfer, Liverpool has sold 19-year-old midfielder Bobby Clark to Salzburg for a reported fee of 10 million pounds ($13 million). Clark was among the young talents who contributed to Liverpool's victory in the English League Cup last season.
