The Federal Government has issued a warning to Nigerians intending to travel to the United Kingdom, advising them to exercise caution due to ongoing violent protests in response to the recent murder of three young girls at a concert.

In a statement released on Monday by Amb. Eche Abu-Obe, spokesperson for Nigeria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it was noted that the violence in the European nation has reached "dangerous proportions," as evidenced by reported assaults on law enforcement personnel and damage to public infrastructure.

The travel advisory from the Nigerian foreign affairs ministry states, "There is an increased risk of violence and disorder resulting from the recent riots in the UK, which are linked to the tragic killings of three young girls at a concert."

An outbreak of far-right violence and anti-immigrant sentiment has occurred in various towns and cities across the United Kingdom, UK. Groups of individuals, often wearing masks, have been heard chanting anti-immigrant slogans while targeting hotels accommodating asylum seekers and mosques.

These individuals have also engaged in confrontations with law enforcement and have caused significant damage to property.

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer HAS issued a stark warning to racist far-right thugs rioting in British towns and cities with a “guarantee” they will face swift justice and “the full force of the law”.

In an uncompromising statement to the nation, the prime minister told those behind the appalling scenes in Hull, Halifax, Liverpool, London, Southport and Rotherham: “I guarantee, you will regret it”.

More than 100 people have been arrested following the violent disturbances on Saturday.
