Nollywood is buzzing with excitement as the world premiered ‘American Japa’ on Friday at the prestigious Filmhouse Cinema Oniru, located in Victoria Island, Lagos.

The highly anticipated event commence at 5 p.m., an evening filled with glamour and entertainment.

Angel Ufuoma, the talented actress and co-producer of this star-studded film, stated, “’American Japa’ features an exceptional cast made up of some of Nollywood's finest talents.

Their extensive experience as reliable performers significantly enhances this dynamic and captivating film, which tells the story of two determined women striving to escape their challenging circumstances.”

The film showcases prominent actors including Toyin Abraham, Odunlade Adekola, Kanayo O. Kanayo, Bolanle Ninalowo, and Segun Arinze, along with Jide Kosoko, Wunmi Toriola, Yemi Blaq, Tina Amuziam, Jumoke Odetola, Lizzy Jay, and Ronke Oshodi-Oke.

‘American Japa’ will be released in cinemas worldwide on September 6 and is penned and directed by the esteemed filmmaker Tony Abulu, who also serves as the executive producer.

The project received sponsorship from the Bank of Industry (BOI).
