Nollywood actress Adunni Ade is currently involved in a conflict with a cab driver named Frances Njoku, who has threatened to take legal action against her following an incident involving a package delivery.

The situation escalated on September 18, 2024, when Ade publicly accused Njoku of taking her package and failing to respond to her communications.

She took to Instagram to address both Njoku and the ride-hailing service, In-drive. Her post quickly garnered attention, with many followers demanding accountability from the company.

By the end of the day, Ade announced that Njoku had returned the package after his account was locked by the platform. However, this resolution did not settle the ongoing dispute.

On Thursday, Ade shared screenshots of her conversations with Njoku and her fashion designer, who had initially sent the package.

The messages revealed Njoku's frustration over what he viewed as damage to his reputation, along with his threat of legal action against Ade.

Njoku stated, “You have tarnished my image, and I have contacted my legal team; we will see you in court. You are not the individual who requested the ride.

Numerous human rights activists and lawyers have reached out to me, and I will not let this matter go unaddressed.

You must issue a full apology and request Instablog to remove the post.”

In response, Ade expressed her willingness to confront the lawsuit.

“Francis Njoku, I am about that life! I want all the smoke. I wait on your human rights activists letter or lawsuit!” she wrote on social media.
