On Monday, the Television Academy announced the winners in
an X post, stating, “Congratulations to all of tonight’s #Emmy winners! For the
complete list of winners and to stream the 76th #Emmys, visit @hulu. #Emmys

The Primetime Emmy Awards, often known simply as the Emmys,
are an annual event that honors exceptional accomplishments in American
primetime television.
Founded by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences
(ATAS) in 1949, these awards celebrate excellence across various categories,
including acting, writing, directing, and technical achievements in genres such
as drama, comedy, and limited series.
The awards are presented in two separate ceremonies: the
Primetime Emmys and the Creative Arts Emmys, recognizing outstanding
performances, shows, and technical contributions in categories like acting,
writing, and directing.
Receiving an Emmy is a significant achievement that enhances
the reputation of both shows and the talent involved.
Over the years, the Emmys have established themselves as one
of the most esteemed awards in television, comparable to the Oscars in film and
the Grammys in music.
Winning an Emmy can greatly elevate a show's standing and
the careers of its contributors.
FX’s ‘Shogun’ was the standout of the evening, breaking
records with 18 Emmy wins, including Best Drama, Best Actor, and Best Actress.
HBO’s ‘Hacks’ achieved an unexpected victory for Best Comedy
Series, while Netflix’s popular series ‘Baby Reindeer’ took home the Best
Limited Series award.
During the ceremony, the Governor’s Award was presented to
Greg Berlanti by Matt Bomer and Joshua Jackson.
The 76th annual event was hosted by Eugene and Dan Levy and
was broadcast live on ABC from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
