EA Sports has once again combined the worlds of football and music by revealing the soundtrack for the 25th edition of EA Football Club. This year, the focus is on Afrobeats, featuring prominent Nigerian artists Rema, Shallipopi, and Omah Lay alongside a diverse array of global musicians. The highly anticipated football video game is scheduled for release on September 27, 2024.

Among the standout tracks are Rema’s popular single “Benin Boys,” which features Shallipopi, and Omah Lay’s hit “Moving,” both highlighting the increasing global prominence of African music in this year's soundtrack. This marks Rema’s second inclusion, following his debut on the FIFA 21 VOLTA Football soundtrack with “Beamer,” where he was joined by fellow Nigerian talents such as Fireboy DML, Burna Boy, Ms Banks, and Nnena.

Further enriching the Afrobeats representation is UK-based Nigerian artist Obongjayar, known for his 2022 hit “Tomorrow Man.” The soundtrack boasts over 100 tracks from a variety of international artists, including British singer Self Esteem’s “Big Man,” featuring South Africa’s Moonchild Sanelly, Gambian-British rapper Pa Salieu’s “Allergy,” and the British-Nigerian jazz collective Ezra Collective’s “God Gave Me Feet for Dancing,” featuring Yazmin Lacey.
