These advanced vehicles, equipped with machine guns, are said to be deployed by troops involved in what Russia designates as the “special military operation.”
“Two additional Cybertrucks have been dispatched to the area of the special military operation,” Kadyrov remarked. “Western technology is proving effective against its own Western ‘Ukronazis.’ The electric vehicle's mobility, convenience, and maneuverability are highly appreciated here. The remote deactivation feature has not impacted their performance. The vehicles are functioning normally without any issues,” he continued.
In August, Kadyrov released a video showcasing himself driving a Cybertruck on the grounds of his palace, highlighting the vehicle’s features. The truck was modified with a machine gun turret, and Kadyrov was seen wearing an ammunition belt while posing beside the weapon.
At that time, Kadyrov indicated that the vehicle would be deployed to the frontlines in Donbas and expressed his expectation for further innovations from Tesla’s founder, Elon Musk, for application in Russia’s conflict with Ukraine.
Tesla has yet to comment on the reported deployment of its vehicles in the conflict, and the degree to which these Cybertrucks are being utilized remains uncertain.
