Femi Otedola has contributed N3.7 billion for the development of phase 2 of the engineering faculty building at Augustine University in Epe, Lagos. 

As the chancellor of the Catholic institution, he announced that the project is anticipated to be completed within a year. 

Otedola made this announcement during the 6th convocation ceremony of Augustine University held on Tuesday, which was graced by notable figures, including Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, religious leaders, and university officials. 

In his speech, Otedola recognized the academic achievements and personal growth of the graduating class, underscoring the university's dedication to excellence. 

He emphasized Augustine University’s mission to promote both intellectual and moral development, as reflected in its motto. 

Otedola stressed the significance of cultivating graduates who possess both technical skills and ethical leadership, encouraging the new alumni to embody these principles in their future endeavors. 

He expressed gratitude to the university's administration, faculty, and staff for their contributions to the graduates' development. 

Otedola also conveyed his aspiration for Augustine University to become a leading institution for engineering education. 

His recent donation of N3.7 billion follows his earlier funding for the completion of phase 1 of the engineering faculty building. He stated that the new phase 2 initiative is expected to significantly enhance the university's ability to train the next generation of engineers.
