The National Examinations Council has annonced that candidates are now required to pay a fee of N50,000 for the reprinting of certificates.

This new policy was communicated by the Registrar of NECO, Dantani Wushishi, in a public notice released to journalists in Minna, the capital of Niger State, on Monday. NECO indicated that "the N50,000 fee for certificate reprints is subject to periodic review."

Furthermore, the council specified that requests for reprints will only be accepted within one year from the date of the original certificate issuance.

After this timeframe, the council will not process any such requests. Additionally, NECO has established a one-month deadline for candidates to submit requests for corrections to their results.
