He described Air Peace as a source of national pride, noting its ability to compete on an international level and contribute positively to Nigeria's standing in the global aviation arena.
In acknowledging the leadership of Dr. Allen Onyema, the founder and CEO of Air Peace, Keyamo expressed appreciation for his achievements, which underscore the airline's influence and growth.
He urged other Nigerian airlines to implement similar long-term strategies as those employed by Air Peace, emphasizing that the airline's success illustrates the potential that can be realized through effective management and dedication.
Keyamo also addressed the wider Nigerian aviation landscape, citing recent research indicating that Nigeria represents 80 percent of domestic air travel in Africa, with the Lagos–Abuja route being the busiest on the continent.
He stated that Air Peace is strategically positioned to cater to this increasing demand, setting benchmarks in the industry through its expansion and service quality.
Additionally, Keyamo announced that prominent aircraft financiers and lessors have invited him and Nigerian airline executives to a high-level meeting in January, aimed at securing support and financing for local airlines, which will further bolster Nigeria's position in global aviation.
