According to a company statement, the event was held at the Delta Mall Gloworld and attended by Glo subscribers, media representatives, and Anwyuli Efejukwu from the National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC).
Globacom announced that the winners from the draw would receive their prizes the following Thursday. Prizes include a new Toyota Prado, tricycles, sewing machines, generators, and grinding machines.
The company encouraged both potential and current subscribers to dial *611# to enter the promotion and to continue recharging (voice and data) throughout the promotional period to be eligible for the prizes available.
New subscribers can also participate by acquiring a new SIM, registering it, and dialing *611# to opt-in.
To qualify for the draw for the Prado Jeep, new and existing customers must recharge a total of N100,000 during the promotional period. A cumulative recharge of N50,000 is required for the Kia Picanto, N10,000 in a month for a tricycle, and N5,000 total recharge in a month to win a generator. For the sewing machine, a total recharge of N2,500 in a month is necessary, while a daily recharge of N500 will make one eligible for the grinding machine draw.
