On Monday, Huawei Technologies of China made an official announcement via its WeChat account, stating that pre-orders for the Mate 70 smartphone model have commenced.

Furthermore, the company will be hosting an event dedicated to the Mate brand on November 26th. During this event, it is expected that the newest lineup of smartphones will be unveiled.

Starting Monday, Huawei's online store has enabled users to reserve the Mate 70 and two pro versions without the need for a deposit, although the website did not provide pricing information.

Last year, Huawei re-entered the 5G premium smartphone market with its Mate 60 series, which features semiconductors produced domestically.

These devices have been hailed in China as a significant achievement in overcoming U.S. sanctions that have restricted the company’s access to advanced U.S. chips and other technologies since 2019.
