Caring Habitat offers a wide range of services, including physical rehabilitation for conditions such as stroke, severe illness, post-surgical recovery, frailty, debility, and arthritis, along with specialized management of chronic diseases like hypertension, diabetes, chronic pain, and dementia.
Dr. Odemuyiwa, who returned to Nigeria after three decades of medical practice in the United States, highlighted the pressing need for additional rehabilitation hospitals. He called on state governments to create such facilities and urged the federal government to establish at least one in each geopolitical zone.
Notable attendees, including Mr. Tokunbo Talabi, Secretary to the Ogun State Government, and Mrs. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Director-General of the Nigeria Diaspora Commission, lauded Caring Habitat’s forward-thinking initiative.
Additionally, Mrs. Kemi Ogunyemi, Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Health, praised the facility for addressing the gaps in Nigeria’s healthcare infrastructure.
Mr. Tokunbo Talabi, the Secretary to the Ogun State Government and a distinguished guest at the event, remarked that Caring Habitat has emerged at a crucial moment when Nigerians are seeking improved healthcare services.
