Controversial Nigerian artist Habeeb Okikiola, widely recognized as Portable, has asserted that he has produced more hit songs than his peer, Burna Boy.

He emphasized that his statement was not an act of boasting, but rather a declaration of his superior ability as a hitmaker compared to the Grammy-winning artist.

The 'Zazu' performer made these remarks in a video that has been circulating on social media.

“I have more hit songs than Burna Boy. I’m not making empty boasts. I have hit songs like ‘Tony Montana’. Uncle Burna, I have more hits than you,” he stated.

Portable rose to fame in December 2021 with the release of his hit single ‘Zazoo Zeh’, featuring Olamide and Poco Lee. He has also been behind several successful tracks, including ‘All Eyes On Me’, ‘Clear Azaman’, ‘Neighbour’, and ‘Ogo Forever’.

In a recent TikTok post, Portable shared that he once performed at shows for as little as two hundred naira before Olamide played a pivotal role in advancing his career.

He expressed his gratitude to Olamide for transforming his life. Recently, Portable collaborated with UK rapper Skepta on a track titled ‘Tony Montana’.

This song has achieved significant milestones for all artists involved, marking Portable's first number-one hit on both the Spotify and Apple Music charts in Nigeria, as well as a debut on the UK charts.

Additionally, Skepta and Jae 5 celebrated their first number-one position on the Spotify Top Songs Daily chart for Nigeria with this hit.
