Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni is anticipated to be sidelined for approximately a month due to a sprained ankle, as announced by the Spanish champions on Wednesday.

This injury may prevent him from participating in La Liga matches against Osasuna, Leganes, Getafe, and Athletic Bilbao, in addition to the upcoming Champions League clash with Liverpool on November 27. Reports from Spain indicate that he is expected to make a return in early December.

Furthermore, the French international is likely to miss the Nations League fixtures for his national team against Israel and Italy on November 14 and 17, respectively.

In a statement, the club confirmed, “Following tests conducted today by Real Madrid’s medical team, Aurelien Tchouameni has been diagnosed with a sprained left ankle.”

Tchouameni sustained the injury during Madrid's 3-1 defeat to AC Milan in the Champions League on Tuesday, leading to his substitution at halftime.
