Music industry executive Paul Okoye, also known as Paulo, has expressed his disagreement with human rights lawyer Deji Adeyanju's recent accusation against Nigerian singer Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy. Adeyanju had alleged that Burna Boy was engaging in oppressive behavior towards his colleague, Speed Darlington.

Earlier report indicated that Speed Darlington was arrested by officers from the Imo State Command of the Nigeria Police Force in Owerri, the capital of Imo State.

This is his second time getting arrested, coming after an earlier run-in with the law on October 4. The artist, known as Akpi, got out on bail on October 9 after being locked up for five days.

In a post on X, Adeyanju claimed that Burna Boy was behind Speed Darlington’s recent arrest by the police.

In response, Paulo took to Instagram on Wednesday to challenge the activist’s assertion, labelling him a social media lawyer for mentioning Burna Boy’s name.

He wrote: “ Lawyer Deji or whatever they call you, can you put respect on Burna Boy’s name? Why are you even mentioning Burna Boy’s name?

“You are nothing more than a social media lawyer! Lawyer my a** Get your facts right before you open your gutter mouth. Control your client.”
