On Wednesday, an Allied Air cargo aircraft, registration 5N-JRT, executed an emergency landing at Abuja's Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport (NAIA) due to a landing gear malfunction. The incident, involving an E-Cargo aircraft with six crew members, occurred at approximately 10:05 AM.

Preliminary reports indicate fatalities. The crew has been evacuated and is undergoing medical assessment at the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) 063 medical facility.

Emergency response teams swiftly secured the crash site, establishing a perimeter under the supervision of the Military Airport Commandant (MAC) and relevant authorities.
