Strategically located along Airport Road in Omagwa, the station boasts a storage capacity of 45,000 litres each for Automotive Gas Oil (AGO, commonly referred to as diesel) and Premium Motor Spirit (PMS, known as petrol). It is equipped with two pumps and four discharge nozzles for both PMS and AGO. The facility also offers ample space for various services, ensuring that customers experience enhanced satisfaction and the energy to "go further" with Asharami’s premium offerings.
“The Asharami Omagwa Retail Station is now fully operational, providing a variety of top-tier products and services. It serves as a comprehensive destination, offering our valued customers both dine-in and take-out restaurant options, shopping facilities, as well as Asha lubricants and Asha Service, which guarantees exceptional care for all types of vehicles and engines,” stated Oladimeji Williams, Head of Government Relations and Business Development at Asharami Synergy.
During the commissioning event, Williams emphasized that the new station marks a significant milestone in Asharami Synergy’s growth strategy, aimed at responsibly reaching and serving more communities. “This station is ideally located near the airport, acting as a catalyst for socio-economic development in the surrounding area, while allowing Asharami Synergy to streamline all facets of its downstream operations to deliver efficiency and value to our customers,” he remarked.
Williams expressed gratitude to the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) and the leaders of the Omagwa community for their support and collaboration throughout the project, describing the process as “seamless and productive,” which underscores Asharami’s commitment to corporate responsibility and social impact in the region.
During the event, Mrs. Ifesinachi Ezike, Regional General Manager (South South) of FAAN, highlighted the broader implications of the new station, stating, “This event signifies a pivotal moment not only for Asharami Synergy but also for the airport and the surrounding community. It represents more than the inauguration of a new facility; it signifies a renewed dedication to improving the travel experience for all our passengers and stakeholders.”
In a demonstration of its dedication to sustainability and community enhancement, Asharami Synergy also inaugurated a solar-powered borehole at the launch. This initiative aims to provide residents with improved access to clean and dependable water, representing a meaningful contribution to the local community.
“At Sahara, we are committed to making a positive impact—not solely through our business activities; we are steadfast in our mission to promote sustainable development and forge partnerships that uplift the well-being of our host communities,” Williams remarked.
