Nigerian dancer Lil Smart has initiated legal proceedings against Naira Marley, the head of Marlian Records, and singer Zinoleesky, citing an alleged threat to his life.
On December 9, 2024, Lil Smart took to social media to express his concerns, claiming that his safety was at risk.
He urged the public to hold Naira Marley and Zinoleesky responsible should anything happen to him, sharing alarming videos and images that purportedly depict Zinoleesky and others pursuing him.
In response, Zinoleesky refuted the claims, suggesting that Lil Smart was merely seeking attention.
Nevertheless, in a widely circulated post on Instagram, Lil Smart announced that he has formally lodged his petition with the authorities and is now seeking justice through the legal system.
He also mentioned that he had previously faced harassment from the two but did not have enough evidence to pursue legal action at that time.
“This is not the first or third time I have been experiencing this bullying. But I didn’t have enough evidence to face the law. Now, I thank God that I have very good evidence, and I will put everything I have in line to make sure this bullying and threat to life is stopped.
“With my evidence, I really hope that they are not too big to be apprehended. I have submitted my petition and evidence to the authorities. By God’s grace, the law that binds us as citizens of Nigeria will make sure I get the justice I deserve.”
At the time of this report, Mr. Naira Marley has not yet responded to the allegations.
