In a conversation with media figure Chude Jideonwo, Blaqbonez revealed that his father left him at birth, which meant he grew up without his father's presence.
"My dad kind of dipped when I was born, so he wasn’t there. I wasn’t raised by my dad," he stated.
During the discussion, Blaqbonez also proclaimed himself "the best rapper in Africa," asserting that no other African rapper possesses a superior discography.
Last year, acclaimed Ghanaian-American artist Amaarae referred to Blaqbonez as the best rapper in Nigeria.
