The Nigerian fighter demonstrated his formidable strength and accuracy, clinching the win with just under 10 seconds left in the first round.

Having recently transitioned from light heavyweight, Nzechukwu improved his record to 14-5 and has now achieved two consecutive victories in the heavyweight category. Kennedy Nzechukwu of Nigeria reacts to his win after a heavyweight bout against Lukasz Brzeski of Poland during the UFC 310 event at T-Mobile Arena on December 07, 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

From the beginning, Nzechukwu took control of the bout, pursuing Brzeski around the octagon. His strategic approach proved effective when he landed a powerful left hand that momentarily incapacitated Brzeski, setting him up for a devastating right that sent him to the canvas. Nzechukwu then unleashed a barrage of strikes, prompting the referee to intervene and halt the contest.

This knockout not only showcased Nzechukwu’s striking capabilities but also highlighted his smooth transition to the heavyweight division.

Nzechukwu's performance is particularly impressive as he stepped in on short notice to replace Tallison Teixeira, who had to withdraw due to injury. Despite the rapid adjustment, Nzechukwu exhibited remarkable composure and strength, reinforcing his position as a contender to keep an eye on in the division.
