Selena Gomez and music producer Benny Blanco have officially announced their engagement. The 32-year-old singer and actress shared engagement photos on Instagram, depicting Blanco, 36, affectionately kissing her.

Accompanying the images, she wrote, "forever begins now," to which Blanco humorously responded, "Hey wait... that's my wife."

The announcement garnered attention from numerous celebrities, including Taylor Swift, who playfully remarked, "Yes I will be the flower girl."

Jennifer Aniston expressed her excitement with, "HONEY!! Congratulations sweet mama!"

Gordon Ramsay, who appeared on Gomez's cooking show Selena + Chef in 2022, added, "Congratulations to you both, it must be the cooking."

According to People magazine, the couple began dating in June 2023, having first met in 2019 while collaborating on Gomez's song "I Can't Get Enough."

Earlier this year, Gomez spoke about Blanco during an interview with Apple Music's Zane Lowe, stating, "And I think it's really nice to also lean on someone who understands the world that I live in. But I'd have to say overall it's the safest that I feel and it's been really lovely and I've only grown through it, so it's awesome."

Gomez's engagement comes shortly after she received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the musical drama Emilia Perez, which follows four women as they pursue their dreams. She was also nominated in the TV actress category for her performance in the acclaimed comedy-drama Only Murders In The Building, alongside Steve Martin and Martin Short.
