An altercation has arisen between Mercy Chinwo and her former manager, Ezekiel Onyedikachi, known as EeZee Tee, as depicted in an emotional video. The two are currently involved in a legal dispute concerning allegations of fraud.

In the approximately three-minute video, Mercy accuses him of bullying and making threats against her. She explains that she relocated from Lagos to Port Harcourt, Rivers State, due to fears for her safety, as he allegedly threatened to ruin her music career.

She also claimed that her former manager held back her royalties for two years and launched online attacks to damage her image.

Among her accusations, Chinwo stated he wrongfully connected Pastor Nathaniel Bassey to her child, motivated by a personal grudge against the pastor.

These claims come amid a dispute between Chinwo and EeZee Tee, with Chinwo’s lawyer alleging that EeZee Tee tried to extend her contract from five years to 12, which she firmly declined.

She said, “A man claimed I sued him. Came online, made videos to tarnish my image. He looked at me and said, ‘I made you who you are, and I will destroy you.’ I became scared of my life, and it got to a point where I had to move from Lagos to Port Harcourt because this man made the environment toxic for me. I’ve endured bully. I’ve endured threats. Whatever he is doing on social media now is nothing compared to what I went through.”

“This is not to paint him bad. He took me to court and came online to make public that I took him to court. Here are the documents. You took myself and Minister JudiKay to court, and you’re here playing the victim game.

“You bullied me, threatened my life and said you made me who I am, and that you’ll destroy me. How many lawyers have you changed now because you said you have money and connections?. What did I ever do?

“You seized my royalties for two years; you are a bully. You’re an oppressor. One of my major crimes was when I did a song with Pastor Nathaniel Bassey. Because this man hates Pastor Nathaniel Bassey, you went as far as sponsoring fake news about an innocent child, my son. And you said my son was not my son. And you paid bloggers. Because you hate Pastor Jerry Eze you won’t want me to go for his events. The people you fight, I must fight them with you? and when i ask you questions, you start harassing me. You are not God and cannot destroy me.

“You have bloggers, I have God. The worst you can do is what you’re doing. And I know that God will not let your plans come to pass.”

Recall that Nathaniel Bassey reached out to the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, back in April 2024, asking for an investigation and legal action against four people who wrongly claimed he was the father of Mercy Chinwo’s child.
