Student entrepreneurs and small business owners from six universities will have the opportunity to benefit from a N10 million grant offered by Stability and Sustenance in collaboration with Engraced Events.
The selection of beneficiaries will take place as the Stability and Sustenance team visits the six campuses for the Nigeria Universities Talent and Skill Monetization Campus Tour, running from today until March 28.
Throughout the tour, experienced entrepreneurs will engage with students from these universities, providing insights on how to monetize their skills and expand their businesses.
The campus tour, titled “Laff & Learn,” will feature Nigerian comedian Chibuike Alfred, known as Josh2funny, who will share his knowledge and experiences in producing comic content that resonates with both local and international audiences.
The campuses included in the tour are the University of Port Harcourt on March 7, Veritas University in Abuja on March 12, Ambrose Ali University in Ekpoma, Edo State on March 14, and the University of Nigeria, Enugu, University of Calabar, and University of Lagos on March 19, 26, and 28, respectively.
Stability and Sustenance founder, Melody Fidel, stated that the 2025 campus tour will inspire students to pursue entrepreneurship, self-sufficiency, and job creation.
The tour addresses the concerning trend of parents continuing to support their university-educated children due to a lack of white-collar job opportunities. Its purpose is to equip students with the skills and resources to become employers, rather than solely seeking employment.
Stability and Sustenance offers practical solutions through expert tutoring, community mentorship, and grants for promising young entrepreneurs.
Also, Engraced Events CEO, Mr. Itoto Emmanuel, expressed his eagerness to partner with Josh2Funny for the forthcoming campus tour, citing the entertainer's significant popularity within Nigeria. He further noted that the event will serve as a vehicle to address critical social issues, including cultism, substance abuse, and violence, in addition to providing entertainment.
The Stability and Sustenance platform provides youth and entrepreneurship mentorship across Africa and the United Kingdom.
