The semi-main event at the Intuit Dome became a spectacle beyond the initial six competitors. A slew of non-match participants, including Bronson Reed, Jacob Fatu, and Bron Breakker, made their presence felt, attempting to sway the outcome in favor of their respective factions. However, when the dust settled, it was Rollins who stood tall, securing the coveted Money in the Bank briefcase and, with it, a guaranteed future world title opportunity.
Rollins' Expected Ascent and Match Highlights
WWE opted for the most straightforward and logical outcome for the men's Money in the Bank winner, with Seth Rollins, a consistent main event push, being the clear choice. Rollins' victory was widely anticipated, mirroring the expected triumph of Naomi in the women's equivalent. The chaotic, interference-filled bout nevertheless provided numerous memorable moments for the fans.
Early in the match, Andrade executed a breathtaking flipping dive over the top rope, wiping out four competitors on the outside. Penta quickly followed suit with a crossbody that laid out all five opponents. The action escalated with brutal ladder spots: Americano delivered a reverse powerslam to Rollins onto a ladder, and Solo Sikoa retaliated by body slamming Americano onto a ladder in the corner. LA Knight then hit Sikoa with a reverse DDT onto another ladder, showcasing the intense, multi-man physicality.
Rollins found his footing, hitting Sikoa with a drop toehold onto a ladder followed by a massive Stomp. The match continued its high-impact pace with Americano locking Rollins in an ankle lock atop a ladder in the ring. Andrade intervened, delivering a sunset flip bomb off the top to Americano, while seconds later, Penta hit Rollins with a superplex onto a ladder, eliciting strong reactions from the crowd. Penta continued his highlight reel, demolishing Andrade with a "Mexican Destroyer" atop an elevated ladder stretching from one ladder to the corner of the ring.
As the match neared its climax, Penta seemed poised for victory after headbutting Americano off a ladder near the briefcase and then knocking Rollins off. However, Americano, aided by a steel plate in his mask, pushed a ladder into a leaning position on the main ladder, knocking Penta off. LA Knight then delivered a huge side suplex on Americano, generating a massive crowd reaction.

The match truly descended into pandemonium with the arrival of outside forces. Rollins called for backup, and Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed stormed the ring, systematically destroying everyone in their path. Breakker speared Knight outside, while Reed hit an incredible Tsunami on Andrade.
Just as the chaos seemed to subside, Jacob Fatu and JC Mateo made a dramatic entrance to a massive pop from the crowd. Fatu immediately made his presence felt, hitting a pop-up Samoan Drop on Reed and a suicide dive to the outside, igniting chants of "Fatu!" from the unhinged audience. The most shocking moment, however, came when Fatu appeared to be helping Solo Sikoa secure the briefcase. Instead, Fatu grabbed Sikoa's ankle, screaming, "I hate you, Solo!" before delivering a Superkick. He then followed up with a moonsault onto Sikoa and a Rock Bottom-like move through a ladder on the outside, a stunning betrayal that immediately captured headlines.
Rollins Capitalizes as the Dust Settles
In the aftermath of Fatu's seismic betrayal, Rollins nearly capitalized to grab the briefcase. However, LA Knight interfered, hitting Rollins with a clothesline. Knight attempted a BFT, but Rollins reversed it, hitting Knight with a Stomp, which finally allowed "The Architect" to ascend the ladder, grab the briefcase, and secure the victory.
While Jacob Fatu's turn on Solo Sikoa undeniably "stole the show," this major moment had been hinted at for weeks. WWE had been teasing a babyface turn for Fatu, one of the company's fastest-rising stars. His interference ultimately played a crucial role in Rollins' ability to capitalize and win the match.
With reports having emerged that Rollins was the likely winner, his second Money in the Bank briefcase win at the 2025 event was perhaps "too obvious" for some. Yet, WWE stuck to its guns, awarding the guaranteed world title shot to a performer who has consistently been pushed as a main eventer and had the clearest path to a championship among the competitors.
