The highlight of the event was the presentation of the top prize of N1 million to Sunday Efenure, a 69-year-old technician from Edo State. Efenure, who won through the Jolly Wheel promo, received his prize in Lagos and shared his initial disbelief. "With the rate of scams in the country, I didn’t believe it," he confessed. "My wife told me to check, and I even asked my son to make verifications about it. When he confirmed it was real, I hurried down to Lagos. I am grateful to Glo for this life-changing reward."
Other winners included Taiwo Oni, a 39-year-old from Ibadan, who was awarded N500,000 from the Jolly Life category. In Abuja, Esther Clifford won N500,000 in the Jolly Win segment, describing her prize as "a blessing that came at the right time." Christopher Onajobhe from Warri received N200,000, praising Globacom for its commitment to improving the lives of its customers. Additional prize recipients were Denem Usman Maji from Nasarawa and Godwin Udanna from Onitsha, each taking home N100,000, while Ijeoma Anogwa from Enugu received N200,000. The winners unanimously expressed how their new-found funds would provide much-needed financial relief for their personal and family needs.
During the Lagos ceremony, Mr. Mojeed Aluko, Globacom’s Head of Value Added Services, presented the cheques and reiterated the company’s dedication to rewarding its loyal customer base. He extended his congratulations to the winners and urged more Nigerians to join the promo by dialing *13199# on their Glo lines. The initiative’s partner, Tetragrammaton International, represented by Tolulope Aminu, encouraged the winners to share their stories to inspire greater participation in future schemes.
