The event, which brought together some of Lagos's most respected personalities, underscored the growing recognition of Nollywood's cultural and economic significance.

A High-Profile Gathering

The unveiling ceremony drew a distinguished list of attendees, including Muiz Banire, SAN, a respected lawyer and former Lagos State commissioner; Honourable Moji Ojora Meranda, Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly; Honourable Tokunbo Wahab, Lagos State Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources; and Mrs. Toke Benson-Awoyinka, Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture. Their presence at the event highlighted a strong show of support for Oloketuyi's work and for the film industry as a whole.

A Deep Dive into Nollywood

'Making Movies the Nollywood Way' is a coffee-table style book that offers an in-depth look into Nigeria's unique filmmaking process. The book combines Oloketuyi's personal insights with the professional experiences of 21 leading Nollywood figures, including industry veterans like Ọpa Williams, Wale Adenuga, and Emem Isong. Through their voices, the book chronicles the triumphs, challenges, and creative processes that have shaped one of the world's most dynamic film industries.

Oloketuyi described the project as a "labour of love" aimed at educating, inspiring, and preserving the unique heritage of Nollywood. "This book is not just about film; it's about telling our stories—our struggles and our successes—in a way that resonates with both practitioners and lovers of cinema," he said.

The event also featured a public reading and a discussion session, providing a valuable opportunity for aspiring filmmakers and students to interact with Nollywood veterans and exchange knowledge.
