Popular content creator Asherkine has revealed that he stopped producing his well-known binge-eating videos after realizing the toll they were taking on his physical and mental health.

In a candid post shared on social media, Asherkine admitted that creating binge-eating content led to unhealthy eating patterns, including gluttony, compulsive overeating, and a range of health issues such as heart palpitations, weight gain, irregular sleep, high blood pressure, and constant fatigue.

“I genuinely enjoyed clearing up over five different meals regularly until my body told me,” he wrote. “Even though I had an active lifestyle and tried to stay fit, I lost the concept of moderation as mindless binge eating became the order of the day.”

The creator, who once gained fame for finishing massive food portions in record time, said the habit spiraled beyond content creation into compulsive eating disorder, making it difficult to control his appetite even when off-camera.

He continued, “Despite being full, I always wanted to keep eating. Gluttony had made its way. The mental battle to beat gluttony is probably the hardest thing to deal with.”

Asherkine emphasized that compulsive eating disorder is a serious condition that should not be ignored, urging others to pay attention to their relationship with food and prioritize health over social media trends.

While he no longer produces binge-eating content, Asherkine said he still enjoys making food-related videos, though now with a stronger focus on moderation and wellness.

“I’ll still make food content but definitely not in such volume,” he added.

His revelation has drawn praise from fans and fellow creators, many commending his openness and calling his story a reminder of the hidden pressures of content creation in the digital age.
