Former Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Kola, has clarified his stance on his relationship with fellow contestant Dede, stating that he has no plans to pursue a romantic relationship now that the show has ended.

In an interview with GOtv, Kola said his focus has shifted entirely to personal growth and career advancement, emphasizing that whatever connection he had with Dede was limited to the dynamics of the reality show.

“The show is over. I’m focusing on myself, my career, my work, and what I’m bringing to the world,” he explained. “Right now, the show is over and I’m in the next phase of my life. This is where I’m currently headed.”

His comments come shortly after Dede revealed in a separate interview that she had no romantic interest in Kola, citing incompatibility as the reason. Kola echoed her sentiments, noting that their on-screen chemistry did not translate into a real-life relationship.

The reality star, who gained attention during the show for his charm and easygoing personality, said he is now channeling his energy into new opportunities beyond the Big Brother house.

With this clarification, Kola joins several former BBNaija housemates who have chosen to draw a clear line between their in-house experiences and post-show realities, as they step into new personal and professional chapters.
