The nationwide event, which toured Ibadan, Port Harcourt, Owerri, Abuja, and Lagos, drew thousands of revelers for nights filled with music, dance, games, and cultural showcases, reinforcing Orijin’s reputation for merging tradition with modern entertainment.
Each city offered a distinctive cultural experience, complete with traditional drumming, dance, and herb-infused Orijin cocktails, alongside nostalgic local games such as Ayo, Ludo, and Draft. The atmosphere came alive with performances by top DJs, engaging MCs, and live acts from local artists who kept the crowd energized deep into the night.
A highlight of the tour was the raffle draw, where loyal fans went home with prizes ranging from smart televisions and standing fans to household essentials. In Owerri, a first-time attendee, Blessing, was thrilled after winning a 50-inch TV, expressing gratitude for what she called “an unforgettable night.”
In Lagos, Olanrewaju Oladeji echoed similar excitement after winning a smart TV, describing it as “a memorable part of the Orijinal experience.”
Speaking on the success of the nationwide celebration, Dorcas Mashingil, Senior Brand Manager at Orijin, described the tour as “a cultural movement that connects people to their roots while giving them modern, unforgettable experiences.”
Uchechukwu Onwudiwe, Head of Marketing for Mainstream Spirits and RTS at Guinness Nigeria, added that the initiative was designed to celebrate authenticity and unity.
“Through Orijinal Nite, we created a platform that not only entertains but also reinforces pride in our heritage. The response from consumers has been incredible,” he said.
As the festive season approaches, Orijin announced plans to extend the Orijinal experience with new culturally themed festivals and collaborations from October to December, promising more vibrant celebrations that highlight Nigerian creativity and community spirit.
