Rooted in the mission of helping people express their hearts through gifts and meaningful gestures, Celebrations has launched Project Advance, its flagship sustainability initiative. The program is designed to uplift female entrepreneurs and cultivate stronger, more connected communities.
At the core of Project Advance lies a transformative belief — when women rise, communities thrive. Guided by this principle, the initiative has become a beacon of empowerment for women-owned small businesses, offering them access to essential resources, expert mentorship, and real-world market opportunities. Rooted in Celebrations’ broader mission and aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, Project Advance is not just a program — it’s a movement.
Since its inception, the initiative has made remarkable strides. Over 50 female entrepreneurs have been directly empowered, while more than 70 small businesses have scaled up through its interventions. The ripple effects are tangible: over 100 new jobs created, and participating enterprises reporting an 85 percent boost in sustainability. These milestones underscore Project Advance’s enduring commitment to fostering long-term success, resilience, and inclusion in Nigeria’s entrepreneurial landscape.
Through personalized mentorship, immersive workshops, and a vibrant network of like-minded women, Project Advance provides an ecosystem where female founders can not only grow their ventures but also amplify their voices — sharing stories of strength, creativity, and purpose.
“This is just the beginning,” said Dele Balogun, CEO of Celebrations. “We remain committed to creating meaningful pathways for women to thrive, express their purpose, and build legacies that touch lives across generations.”
As the initiative expands its reach, Celebrations is redefining what sustainability means — shifting the focus from profit alone to people, purpose, and empowerment. In doing so, Project Advance continues to illuminate a future where women’s success fuels community prosperity and lasting economic impact.
