FrieslandCampina WAMCO’s Marketing Director, Maureen Ifada, has once again been recognised among the Top 50 Most Influential Women in Marketing and Communications in Nigeria, reaffirming her leadership and impact in the industry. This marks her second consecutive appearance on the prestigious list compiled by Brand Communicator Magazine through the annual Women in Marketing and Communications Conference and Awards (WIMCA).
The recognition celebrates women who have demonstrated exceptional creativity, innovation, and leadership in advancing Nigeria’s marketing and communications landscape.
With more than two decades of professional experience, Ifada has built a reputation as a strategic brand builder and visionary leader. Since joining FrieslandCampina WAMCO in 2003 as a Management Trainee, she has risen through the ranks to become part of the company’s management team in 2024, playing a central role in shaping the direction of some of Nigeria’s most iconic dairy brands.
Her leadership has been instrumental in the repositioning of Three Crowns Milk through the widely acclaimed “Healthy Mums, Happy Families” campaign, which redefined the brand’s core message and deepened its emotional connection with consumers. She also oversees the Peak Milk brand, reinforcing its dominance as Nigeria’s number-one dairy product in an increasingly competitive market.
A graduate of Ambrose Alli University and Heriot-Watt University, Ifada also holds professional certifications from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK). She is a Fellow of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (FNiMN) and the Fellow Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC)—a testament to her dedication to professional excellence and continuous learning.
Beyond her corporate achievements, Maureen Ifada is celebrated for her mentorship and advocacy for women in marketing, inspiring a new generation of female professionals to lead with innovation, integrity, and impact.
Her repeated recognition at WIMCA underscores not only her personal accomplishments but also her contribution to the broader growth of Nigeria’s marketing and communications industry.
