Nigerian music executive Tunji Balogun, popularly known as Teebillz, has publicly apologised to his children, their mothers, and family members for the emotional hurt he may have caused over the years, describing the death of his mother in June 2024 as a turning point in his life.

In a heartfelt post shared on Instagram on Friday, the talent manager opened up about the pain and self-reflection that followed his mother’s passing, acknowledging it as both a moment of deep loss and personal awakening.

“After all the pain and loss, losing my mother broke me, but it also woke something in me…..! To my kids, their mothers, my family, and my loved ones….. I’m sorry for the hurt I caused. I’m trying… and trusting God to fix what I can’t,” he wrote.

Teebillz, a prominent figure in Nigeria’s Afrobeats scene and the founder of 323 Entertainment, is known for managing several successful artists and co-parenting with singer Tiwa Savage, with whom he shares a son.

Over the years, the music executive’s personal life has drawn public attention, particularly during his high-profile marital crisis and subsequent divorce from Savage in 2016. Despite past controversies, his recent message appears to signal a period of emotional healing and renewed commitment to family relationships.

The post, which has drawn empathetic responses from fans and colleagues across the entertainment industry, underscores a growing culture among Nigerian celebrities of embracing vulnerability and accountability in the public eye.

Teebillz, who has previously spoken about mental health and the pressures of fame, now seems focused on rebuilding trust and finding peace — guided, as he put it, by faith and self-awareness.
