The new outlet, located in Ogunusi, Ojodu, Lagos, is expected to become the brand’s centrepiece as it expands its vision of Nigerian luxury fashion built around craftsmanship, individuality and international standards.
The grand opening is scheduled for Sunday, September 13, 2026.
Chief Executive Officer of Aristocrat Clothing, Kayode Alfred, said the decision to establish the flagship store was part of a deliberate effort to change perceptions about locally produced luxury fashion and demonstrate that Nigerian brands could compete at the highest levels of the global industry.
According to Alfred, the Ojodu store was designed to offer customers more than conventional retail, combining sophisticated surroundings with the brand’s emphasis on impeccable tailoring and personalised style.
He said the company was positioning itself at a time when Nigerian consumers were showing growing interest in premium homegrown fashion, creating new opportunities for local designers and manufacturers to compete with established international labels.
Alfred said Aristocrat Clothing wanted to move the industry away from mass-produced fashion and towards bespoke luxury that reflects Nigerian identity while meeting global standards.
“Style has always been more than what one wears. It is an expression of identity, confidence and character. With this store, we are redefining what Nigerian luxury looks like,” Alfred said.
He described the new outlet as the physical embodiment of the company’s philosophy and said customers would be offered what he called the complete Aristocrat experience.
“This is more than retail. This is the new home of the Aristocrat experience. We are here to prove that Nigerian brands can lead in luxury,” he said.
The company’s expansion comes against the backdrop of increasing consumer interest in locally designed clothing, with Nigerian fashion houses seeking to leverage the country’s growing creative economy and international reputation for distinctive style.
For Aristocrat Clothing, the new flagship is intended to strengthen that movement by placing Nigerian craftsmanship at the centre of its luxury proposition.
Alfred said the company’s approach was anchored on creating clothing that combines sophistication with individuality, targeting both Nigerian men and women who value premium tailoring and distinctive personal style.
He added that the brand’s ambition extended beyond establishing another fashion outlet, describing the launch as part of a broader effort to secure a stronger position for Nigerian labels within the country’s evolving luxury market.
“As the doors of this flagship open, Aristocrat Clothing is poised to take its rightful place in Nigeria’s evolving luxury landscape,” Alfred added.
The chief executive said the company would continue to promote class, confidence and impeccable style, which he described as timeless values underpinning the Aristocrat brand.
The September 13 opening is therefore expected to mark a significant milestone in the company’s growth, while reinforcing its message that luxury fashion made in Nigeria can combine local identity with world-class standards.
With its new Ojodu flagship, Aristocrat Clothing is positioning itself not merely as a fashion retailer but as a proponent of a distinctly Nigerian interpretation of luxury—one that places bespoke craftsmanship, identity and confidence at the heart of modern style.
