Nigerian music star Davido has revealed that his wife, Chioma Adeleke, plays a major role in managing his finances, describing her as his “life coordinator.”
The singer made the revelation in a viral video where he was seen placing a phone call to Chioma while explaining that he was unable to access his account and needed assistance with a payment.
During the conversation, Davido asked his wife to transfer $4,000 to his personal assistant, Lati, before travelling back to Nigeria.
Speaking warmly to Chioma during the call, he said:
“Hello, hello baby, good morning my wife, my love. Help me send Lati $4,000. I can’t login, I don’t know why, is the service here. Alright. We’re taking off now to Naija, I love you.”
After the call, Davido’s official streamer, Davreltv, asked him whether Chioma had taken over the responsibility of managing his money.
The singer responded by acknowledging her role and joking about his spending habits.
“Of course, you know I’m a reckless spender. Na she dey arrange everything. Na my life coordinator be that.”
The comment has since sparked reactions from fans, with many applauding the singer for openly appreciating his wife’s support and acknowledging the importance of financial discipline.
