WISDOM Will Promote You

Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her (Proverbs).Do you desire promotion in your life? If you do, then do as the Bible says: Exalt wisdom and it will promote you. I think this good news! It means that you don't have to try to get man's favour or attention for your promotion for the secret is in your Bible.Wisdom's promotion is more rewarding than the promotion of men. What's more, when it comes, it's undeniable. For example, Joseph was sold by his brothers into Egypt as a slave (Genesis 37). In the course of time, his master's wife accused him falsely and he was imprisoned.However, wisdom kept promoting Joseph, even while he was in the prison until he became the head of the prisoners (Genesis 39:22-23). For some time, it seemed like that would be the end of his story.One night, the Pharaoh had a dream which none of his magicians could interpret. Someone remembered the wise Hebrew prisoner and recommended him to the Pharaoh. Joseph was brought before the Pharaoh and he interpreted the king's dream. When Joseph finished speaking, the Pharaoh said, “Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the spirit of God is? ...there is none so discreet and wise as thou art ... I have set thee over all the land of Egypt” (Genesis 41:38-41). The Egyptian empire was preserved by the wisdom of one young man, Joseph.If wisdom could promote a thirty-year old Hebrew prisoner to Prime Minister of the most powerful empire overnight, what can it not do for you? Sadly, a lot of people haven't realized that wisdom is a promoter.In your life, exactly wisdom; give it priority and it will exalt you. The wisdom of God is the word of God, so go for the word. Give it the deserved attention and importance, and it'll promote you and bring you to honour and glory....To the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge (Colossians 2:2-3).The lack of wisdom is the reason for failure, poverty and struggling in the lives of men and women all over the world. Wisdom, in this sense, is defined as insight into reality; it gives a man the ability to comprehend beyond the physical senses. This wisdom is a requirement for a successful life.The good news is that every child of God has wisdom. No matter what your experiences in life has been, the truth is that wisdom of God is in you. This kind of wisdom is greater than all wisdom of the world: “But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption” (1Corinthinans 1:30). Christ has become your wisdom, and God expects you to function by that wisdom.One day, the Prophet Elisha wanted to help the sons of the prophets recover a heavy metal (axe-head) from a river (2King 6:4-7). He didn't have to enter the river nor did he ask for dredging equipments. He simply cut a stick and threw it into the river, and the heavy metal (axe-head) floated to the surface! He knew exactly what to do and it worked, even though it was against every known law of Physics.That's God's wisdom at work. Hallelujah!God has deposited ALL the treasures of wisdom in Christ, and “Christ” refers to Jesus and His Church His Body (Colossians 1:18). You are a member of that Body, so that treasure of wisdom is available to you. When you take advantage of God's wisdom in you, you'll discover that there is absolutely nothing that you cannot comprehend or achieve. You'll have insight into reality and hidden things of life. Take advantage of it; tap into it through meditation and begin to function beyond this world.Make this confession: All of the treasures of wisdom are hidden in my spirit; there is nothing that is beyond my scope of knowledge. I function with the supernatural wisdom of God, that puts me above the world and its systems, in the Name of Jesus. Amen
