Confirming the deal, Colo Colo president Anibal Mosa said the goalkeeper would undergo routine medical examinations before being officially unveiled by the club.
"Vozinha is set to become a Colo Colo player; he will arrive in Chile in the coming days, undergo the necessary medical tests and will then be presented here at the Monumental Stadium," Mosa told reporters ahead of a league match on Friday evening.
Vozinha emerged as one of the standout performers at the World Cup, playing a pivotal role in Cape Verde's historic run that won admiration from football fans around the world.
The experienced goalkeeper delivered a heroic performance in a goalless group-stage draw against eventual champions Spain, producing a series of crucial saves that frustrated one of the tournament's strongest attacking sides.
He also impressed in Cape Verde's dramatic 3-2 extra-time defeat to eventual finalists Argentina in the knockout stage, where his resilience and shot-stopping ability kept his side competitive against one of the tournament favourites.

Vozinha joins Colo Colo from Portuguese second-division side Chaves, adding another chapter to a career that has taken him across several countries despite a relatively late start in professional football.
Unlike many elite footballers, he did not sign his first professional contract until the age of 26. Since then, he has built an impressive career featuring spells in Portugal, Cyprus, Slovakia, Moldova and Angola before attracting interest from the Chilean champions.
