Digital payments platform Quickteller is set to bring music lovers together in Lagos for the second edition of InsomniaQ, a six-hour overnight music event designed to celebrate African music, creativity and culture.

The event, tagged InsomniaQ 2.0, is scheduled for Saturday, November 28, 2026, at the Landmark Event Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos. According to the organisers, the programme will offer an extended entertainment experience featuring six hours of non-stop music.

Powered by Interswitch Group, Quickteller said the event builds on the reception of its maiden edition, which attracted attention for its distinctive approach to Lagos nightlife and its emphasis on shared musical and cultural experiences.

Unlike conventional concerts, InsomniaQ is designed as an immersive gathering that brings people together through music, creativity and community, offering attendees an opportunity to enjoy an extended night of entertainment.

The company explained that the initiative reflects its broader strategy of engaging customers beyond financial transactions by creating experiences that connect with their interests and lifestyles.

Speaking on the return of the event, Dr Cherry Eromosele, Executive Vice President, Group Marketing and Communications at Interswitch Group, said InsomniaQ was conceived as a platform for celebrating African culture while fostering connections among people.

“Through Quickteller, we are continually exploring new ways to connect with our customers beyond financial transactions, and this platform provides an opportunity to celebrate the richness of African music, creativity, and culture in a distinctive and memorable way,” she said.

Eromosele added that the company was looking to build on the momentum of the inaugural edition and deliver another memorable experience for attendees.

The organisers said the six-hour programme would feature music curated to complement the audience’s natural rhythms throughout the night, creating a continuous entertainment experience.

Beyond the music, the event is expected to maintain its focus on local talent and cultural expression, providing a platform for creativity while encouraging social interaction and a shared appreciation of African music.

Quickteller said entry to InsomniaQ 2.0 would be free, although attendance would be restricted to individuals who obtain digital passes ahead of the event.

Interested participants have been encouraged to register early, as access codes will be issued subject to availability and the venue’s capacity.

Registration is available through the event’s official website at insomniaq.quickteller.com.

With its return, InsomniaQ 2.0 is positioned as another opportunity for Quickteller to extend its engagement with customers into the entertainment space while celebrating the diversity and vibrancy of African music and culture.
