The Utah-based low-cost carrier is expanding its domestic and international network, with Myrtle Beach and Tampa emerging as key growth markets as it seeks to connect smaller cities through more convenient nonstop services.
Breeze Airways is preparing to broaden its footprint across the United States and selected international destinations with 31 additional routes scheduled to launch between November 2026 and July 2027, strengthening its position in markets that often lack convenient nonstop connections.
The expansion will bring new services to destinations across the East Coast, the southern United States, the Caribbean and other parts of the country. Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, will receive 11 new routes, while Tampa, Florida, is set to gain six. Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, will welcome four additional services, alongside new connections from several other cities.
According to aviation analytics company Cirium, whose data underpins the route information, the new services form part of Breeze's broader strategy of linking smaller and underserved markets without requiring passengers to travel through major airport hubs.
The airline, headquartered in Utah, has developed its business around convenient nonstop flights and relatively low fares. Although much of its network is domestic, it also serves selected destinations in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Several of the newly announced routes will begin around the festive season, with additional services rolling out through the first half of 2027 and into the summer travel period.
New routes strengthen Breeze's international reach
Breeze will introduce three new services from Palm Beach International Airport, which has been renamed President Donald J. Trump International Airport. Flights will connect the South Florida airport with Atlantic City, New Jersey; Columbus, Ohio; and Greenville-Spartanburg, South Carolina, beginning in December 2026.
The carrier will also expand its Caribbean offering early next year. Pittsburgh will gain flights to both Cancun, Mexico, and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, while Columbus will receive a new Punta Cana connection. Richmond, Virginia, will also gain a route to Cancun.
Elsewhere, Fort Myers, Florida, will be linked with Trenton, New Jersey, from January 2027.
One notable domestic addition is the restoration of Breeze's Phoenix-New Orleans route, scheduled to resume on February 1, 2027. The service will provide travellers with another nonstop option between Arizona and Louisiana.

Myrtle Beach receives 11 additional routes
Myrtle Beach is the biggest beneficiary of the latest expansion, with 11 new routes scheduled to connect the South Carolina coastal city to destinations across the eastern United States.
The new services will roll out between February and July 2027, providing additional options for leisure travellers visiting the popular beach destination and residents seeking more direct connections to other cities.
The first route, linking Myrtle Beach with Latrobe, Pennsylvania, is scheduled to begin on February 9. Most of the remaining services will commence in May, ahead of the busy summer travel season. The final route in the current announcement, connecting Myrtle Beach with Buffalo, New York, is due to launch on July 1.
Other destinations include Boston, Albany, Burlington, Columbus, New Haven, Portsmouth, Portland, Newburgh and Syracuse.
The expansion is particularly significant for Myrtle Beach, where Breeze is seeking to strengthen its presence amid changes in the local airline market. The reported collapse of Spirit Airlines created an opening for competing carriers, following a decline in passenger traffic associated with Spirit's exit.
By adding more nonstop connections, Breeze could attract leisure travellers who previously relied on other airlines or connecting itineraries. However, the long-term success of the new routes will depend on demand, operating costs and the airline's ability to sustain profitable services.

Raleigh-Durham and Tampa gain new destinations
Breeze's expansion will also bring additional services to Raleigh-Durham and Tampa, two markets that offer opportunities for both domestic and international growth.
Raleigh-Durham will gain four routes, linking the North Carolina airport with Buffalo, Dayton, Las Vegas and Nassau in the Bahamas. The Dayton service is scheduled to begin on November 6, 2026, making it one of the earliest launches in the expansion. Flights to Las Vegas will follow in January 2027, while the Buffalo and Nassau routes are scheduled for late June.
Tampa, meanwhile, will receive six new services to destinations spanning the Caribbean and the continental United States. The routes include Cancun, Islip in New York, Las Vegas, Montego Bay in Jamaica, Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic and Saint Thomas in the US Virgin Islands.
The Tampa additions will begin in December 2026, with further launches scheduled for January and June 2027. The range of destinations reflects the airline's intention to offer travellers more direct access to popular holiday markets while expanding its domestic network.
Tampa has become Breeze's leading airport in its network, making the latest additions particularly important to its growth strategy.

Seasonal services to test market demand
Not all the newly announced routes are expected to operate throughout the year. Some will be seasonal, allowing Breeze to assess passenger demand during specific travel periods before deciding whether to extend their schedules.
Seasonal operations can help airlines match capacity to periods of stronger demand, particularly in leisure markets affected by school holidays, winter escapes and summer tourism. They also provide carriers with an opportunity to evaluate a new route without immediately committing to year-round service.
For Breeze, the expansion represents both an opportunity to capture underserved markets and a test of how much demand exists for direct connections between smaller cities.
The airline's ability to balance affordable fares with sustainable operating costs will be central to the success of the new services. As the routes launch between late 2026 and summer 2027, travellers will have more options to consider, while Breeze will gain valuable information about which markets can support continued growth.
