Anny Relocates to Lagos, Launches Clothing Line

Fiery songbird, Annie Emmanuel Ibrahim a.k.a Anny is in the news again. The fast rising act who released her sophomore album few weeks back is activating her other business concerns upon her relocation to Lagos especially her clothing line, Purple Wardrobe.
Anny, the 2009 Gospel Artiste of the Year at the Appreciation of  Women in Entertainment and Art in London,  who before now was based in Kano with her family relocated to Lagos few weeks back to concentrate more on her music and launch her Purple Wardrobe clothing line which is already an item in Kano.
Speaking concerning her relocation, Annie said it is just another phase of her career. “My relocation to Lagos from Kano doesn’t mean am not always in Lagos but just that I oscillate between Kano and Lagos. My latest album was launched in both Lagos and Kano. So for me, it is just another phase of my career to promote my music more. As for my clothing line, lots of people within and outside the music industry are familiar with Purple Wardrobe clothes, most especially in Kano. What we want to do now is to launch it in Lagos so that people resident in Lagos will be aware of our range of clothes”.
Anny released her first album, Your Mercy in 2009 to a critical acclaim. The album greatly announced her in same year with international recognitions, nominations and awards. She was also a nominee at the 2009 edition of the Nigeria Music Video Awards (NMVA.)
Her new album titled ‘Time’ has great songs like Right Now, Yabo, Stay With Me, Come n See, If No Be God, My God Dey, Praise, Jolly and few others. It favours collaboration from talented acts like Kefee, Soul-E, Sammie Okposo and Mekoyo with the imprints of great producers like Wole Oni, Sammie Okposo, Mekoyo, K.Solo and Phat- E.
