Ghanaian, 5 others emerge millionaires in Glo N1 Billion promo

Henry Andoh, a Ghanaian expatriate, who started working in Nigeria in August this year and five other lucky subscribers have emerged winners in the ongoing Glo N1 Billion SIM registration promo.

Andoh, who bought his Glo SIM in September this year and registered it during the first phase of the NCC mandated SIM registration campaign said he found it incredible when he was informed that he had won N1 million in the Glo promo.

The five other winners who were presented with their N1 million cheques alongside Andoh at a special ceremony held yesterday at Globacom’s corporate headquarters in Lagos include Mr. P.B. Chukwu, a civil servant in the Abia State Ministry of Education, Abdullahi Kabido, an Accountancy student at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria; Miss Joshua Christiana, a student at the College of Education, Gidan Waya, Kaduna, Chief Ndukwu Bartholomew from Umuahia in Abia state and Mrs. Abosede Bakare, a civil servant in Lagos.

Chief Ndukwu, who was very delighted that he won N1 million for registering his new Glo SIM, was full of praises to Glo for blessing him during the Yuletide season in addition to being a responsible network committed to providing the best for all Nigerians.

“I bought and registered my SIM card in October and surprisingly I was contacted in November that I won N1 million. Now I know that Glo is Glo everywhere, there in no other network that is like Glo. Glo is the “Ekwueme 1 of Africa”, other networks promise and fail, but Glo is the only network you can trust”, he stated.

The prize presentation to winners in the Glo N1 Billion promo was in fulfilment of Globacom’s promise to reward its subscribers who register their SIMs with fantastic prizes during the Christmas and New Year season and to thank them for their loyalty.

All existing and new subscribers are, therefore, encouraged to take part in the promo as any subscriber might be lucky to win. This could be done by simply registering their old and new SIMs at Glo sales and registration outlets such as Gloworlds, Glozones and other dealer outlets.
