Open Letter to President Goodluck Jonathan & other leaders

    Sir,
Consequent upon the January street protests and mass rally that greeted the sudden and wicked removal of fuel subsidy in Nigeria, on January 1, 2012, now with a view to befitting poor, by cutting the hands of cabals in the oil and gas sector. I now write President Goodluck Jonathan and other political functionaries in government to demonstrate good faith that this is not another deception and fallacy from the government to the masses… now they need to address the socio-economic, political and infrastructure inadequacies facing the country.
I sincerely commend the ongoing probe in the oil sector and the subsidy being enjoyed by a few beneficiaries … in the House of Representatives, but it should be duly concluded … and to see the light of the day.
Again, the governments ( FG, States and LGs) had promised and outlined certain projects which savings from the removal of the fuel subsidy would be targeted at … They must carry through these promises and execute them with as much speed it used to quickly increase petrol pump price … and also tackle the security challenges.
Also, the confidence of the people must be gained by fighting corruption, reducing high costs of governance and adequate delivery of promises to the people. The committees of Justice Belgore and Chief Kolade setup by the Federal Government, should show and exhibit high value and integrity to manage and implement the economic stimulus on the key areas of intervention as agriculture, power, education, health, ICT, water supply, roads, rail transportation, works and youth empowerment.
To fast track the economics of our dear country, the Federal Government should consider alternatives sources energy in order to boost power generation and supply in the country, as, the present generation and supply is still far below what the country requires to compete with rising economics of the world. It is a statement of fact that the country’s economic challenges could be linked to the collapse of the power sector, so one can emphatically postulate that if power supply improves substantially, businesses will begin to thrive naturally, encourage private sector and foreign stakeholders to participate in this vital sector which is important for the growth of commerce and industry … so, if power situation is fixed this regime would be remembered well for a long time.
If power supply improves and the real sector (manufacturing companies begin to work to meet the rising demand for their goods, jobs would be created, our youths will be employed and involvement in crime will reduce and the objectives of meeting the vision 2020 targets will be realized.
Other areas this regime need to be proactive and embark on programmes in the short term that will improve the quality of life of the people – focusing on agricultures, empowerment of the youth, creation of job opportunities, welfare for the unemployed and disabled, quality education and protection from poverty, hunger, drug abuse, thuggery, fanaticism and diseases and should deliver on his promises and planned projects and should not be distracted by sycophants and agents of destabilization.
To save Nigeria , corruption and greed, being the growing problems that hinders development and rob poor people of opportunities for economic and social advance, should be tackled headlong in all human endeavours to stabilize the country.
    ON PROPHETIC REVELATIONS TO NIGERIANS
Nigerian politicians and leaders of people need to turn away from their wicked ways and evils that they are commiting, so as not to incur the wrath of God.
The foolishness of the nation’s rulers will attract divine punishment. Do not tell lies under oath, Do not trust in deceitful words. Do not make promises and break them and worship god. They should turn a new leaf to avoid God’s punishment.
The leaders and followers should go back to the word of the Bible, so that, God will refill His glory on all of us, with a divine comfort … Also the preachers of the word of God should speak and preach the true messages of God to the church and the nation and open the ears of the people to the Biblical ways of life.
Nigerians need to be serious with their spiritual life, as righteousness, fasting and prayers are the only means to live successfully in life. And need to rededicate ourselves to the service of God and humanity and that the difficult situations facing the country demanded a lot of sacrifice from the collective efforts of both the leaders and the led.

    God bless Nigeria (Amen)
